Front line

Where the line moved in the last 24 hours: little, and nothing DeepState confirmed. ISW's 24 October assessment says Russian forces recently advanced southeast of Dobropillia, citing a Ukrainian airstrike on a Russian position in central Bilytske in footage from 23 October [8] [21]. ISW's 23 October assessment credits Ukrainian forces with a recent advance west of Kostiantynivka [9], and records Russian infiltration south of Nova Kozacha and southeast of Khrypuny north of Kharkiv [22]. Russia's MoD weekly summary of 23 October repeated claims to Dobropillia, Pervomaiske, Serhiivka and ten other places [23]; its 25 October summary named no new captured settlement (Late item, 12:00 Kyiv) [24]. The General Staff counted 193 clashes on 24 October; its per-axis counts add up to 66, and the report does not explain the gap [5]. South Slob., 8 clashes. No confirmed change; ISW notes Russian infiltration south of Nova Kozacha [22].

Lyman, 6 clashes. No confirmed change; fighting near Zarichne and toward Stavky, Dibrova and Novoselivka [5].
